If you’re looking for a centrally located, fully equipped but still cheap and friendly accomodation, then Hello Budapest Hostel is the perfect choice for you.

The Hostel is in a fully renovated mansion in a very popular city part of Budapest, where many locals, cafes and bars are situated.
The hostel has 9 rooms with 6 different room types including 36 beds.
All rooms come equipped with a TV with cable channels. Bathroom and toilet facilities are shared, located in the corridor. Public parking is possible in front of the building for an additional cost. All sorts of public transport (tram, metro, bus) are easily accessible.


Our friendly staff is here 24/7 to make your stay the most fun, smooth and relaxing. They will supply you with everything you need for your stay in Budapest like free maps, Budapest Card, organised walking, bike or bus tours and boat trips.


Check in time: 2 PM
Check out time: 11 AM
Please hand back your room key(s) to the receptionist and wait for him/her to check the room.

Smoking and alcohol consumption:

We are a non-smoking hostel. You can only smoke outside the buliding, minimum 5 meters away from the entrance (it is defined by the law).
As we are not a party or amusement place, we kindly ask you to reduce alcohol consumption at the hostel.
We would like you to have a good time here, but we’d also like to provide the circumstances of relaxation.


We reserve the right to collect 20 € deposit/person. This deposit is refundable upon check-out if your room remains in a good condition.
Please leave every room of the hostel in a state how you’d like to find is yourself and use the provided goods as if they were your own.
Charge applies if you cause damage of any property of HBH. The compensation should be reduced from your deposit or payed immediatelly in cash.

Hello Budapest Hostel is located right next to the world famous Central Market Hall (which was recently added to the World Heritage List) and only a few minute walk away from the Danube. Váci street (Budapest’s main shopping street) and Ráday street (which is all about restaurants and cafes) can also be reached within minutes.
Our location is easily accessible by public transport, so you can quickly and smoothly get to us.

From Nyugati Train station: M3 metro > Kálvin tér > walk to the Hostel
From the Liszt Ferenc Airport: bus nr. 200 or 200E > Kőbánya-Kispest metro station > M3 metro Kálvin tér  > walk to the Hostel
